Testing Trophy

Definition

Kent C. Dodds' shape for a test suite — static analysis at the base, a thin band of unit tests, a wide band of integration tests, and a small cap of end-to-end tests

The argument is confidence per unit of effort: integration tests catch the bugs that matter at a cost you can afford, and the type checker and linter catch a class of bugs for free. "Write tests. Not too many. Mostly integration."

Kent C. Dodds' trophy: "Write tests. Not too many. Mostly integration." — with static analysis as the base you get for free.

The shape this repository leans toward: linting and type checking as the floor, component tests in a real Nuxt runtime as the bulk, Playwright on the paths a visitor actually walks. The pyramid's base is the trophy's waist.
