Definition
Testing several units together through a real seam — a component with its composables, a route handler with the database, a page with its content query — so the test fails when the pieces disagree
The layer the testing trophy puts most of its weight on: slower than a unit test, far cheaper than end-to-end, and the first test that catches a wrong assumption between modules.
The test that exercises the join. Two units can each pass their unit tests and still not fit together; the integration test is the one that would have said so.

component renders inside a real Nuxt runtime with real auto-imports.
