Kanban

kanban boardAgileScrumProductivity
Definition
A way of managing work by making it visible on a board of columns — to do, doing, done — and limiting how much may sit in any column at once, so the team finishes before it starts
No sprints, no estimates by default: the discipline is the work-in-progress limit. When a column is full, the only move that helps is to finish something in it. Scrum timeboxes; Kanban throttles.
The board is the least of it. Any tool shows columns; the practice is refusing to pull the next card until one is done, and reading the board for where cards pile up.
