A capability a user can see and name — the thing a release note leads with — usually larger than a story and smaller than an epic
The word is loose by design; teams draw the line differently. What makes something a feature rather than a task is that a user would notice its absence.
In this garden a feature is the feat in a conventional commit: a change that adds a capability, as opposed to fix, refactor or docs.
