The model Claude Code runs on for this work since its release; it replaced Opus 5. A 1M-token context (128K output) holds a repository and a day's conversation at once. Above it sits Fable 5.1; below it, Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4.5. Anthropic has said Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 will follow.
