Proof
Also known as:
proofs, evidence ledgerDesign System
Definition
One investigation with a question, an outcome, its metrics and dates, recorded so it can be cited instead of reconstructed
A proof is open until measured and proven (or disproven) once it is. Read together, the proofs are the evidence ledger — what has been shown, when.
The proofs collection exists so a later document can point at a result rather than re-derive it from commits. A proof states its question up front, which is what stops it from becoming a summary written after the fact.
