Definition
Small, single-purpose moments of feedback in an interface, such as a toggle sliding, a button confirming a tap or a field validating as you type, that tell the user something happened
Dan Saffer's Microinteractions (2013) gives them four parts: a trigger, rules, feedback, and loops and modes. They should respect prefers-reduced-motion, and they carry meaning, not decoration.
The interaction-design skill is how this stack builds them:
Nuxt UI components, motion-safe: utilities and Vue transitions.
