MDC grown up and moved out. The component syntax this site's content is written in
came from Nuxt Content's MDC; Comark takes the same idea — a callout or an embed is
readable plain text, not executable code — and makes it a library with one document
model and many renderers. Two things make it worth watching here: the parsed document
is serializable, so content can be stored and transformed without re-parsing, and the
parser closes unfinished blocks gracefully, which is what rendering an LLM's output
mid-stream needs. The migration from @nuxtjs/mdc is a known path; whether it is worth
walking before Nuxt Content takes it itself is the open question.
