The registry behind the corporate .npmrc: a virtual repository that serves the team’s own packages beside a cached, scanned copy of the public ones, so a build works offline and a package that fails the scan never arrives. For an AEM project it is also where the Maven artifacts — the bundles and content packages — are published before Cloud Manager deploys them.
