📝 Summary

During the demo of the delivered Component Catalog with Shiv, we observed that the initial playground UX needs refinement before it’s suitable for release. Specifically, when navigating to a playground page like "Button", it's unclear what actions the user should take next.

One proposed idea is to have a configurable default NOVA white-label slide template pre-selected upon selecting a component. This template would act as a baseline reference, showcasing defined policies for each available NOVA component. At a minimum, the current blank slate experience should be replaced with basic usage instructions (e.g., 1. Select Template, 2. Edit Component, 3. Preview, etc.), if the feature request

Xpediant is pretty much done with the build and what they had agreed to deliver. Any new feature would be a change request.  

When demoing the delivered Component Catalog work with Shiv, it was observed that the UX for the initial component playground view needs some refinement or improvements before it's ready to release.

For example, when navigating to the 'Button' playground page, it's not very obvious what to do next. One idea discussed is the possibility of having a configurable 'default' White Label (Customer 0) NOVA Slide template pre-selected when selecting a component to explore.

The White label slide template would have policies defined for each of the available NOVA components. The white-label DS will serve as a reference to give the user an idea of what's available.

Minimally, the blank slate, should be replaced with some instructions as to what to do next...

As for the branding, I have selected some initial icons/thumbnails for the NOVA components as well as some branding for the heading and footer to add a little more polish to the design.
